03 / audience operations

Keep audience work close to the messages it powers.

Manage contacts, define segments, and schedule campaigns from the same product surface as transactional email. ZSend gives product teams one place to build the audience side of a send.

Repository checkSource-registered API handlers cover contacts, segments, and campaign create, schedule, pause, and resume operations.

01
Contacts

Keep contact data usable by the send workflow.

The API and CLI support contact operations inside a contact book. Create a contact, update its details, upsert an existing record, or remove it when it should no longer be part of the audience.

02
Segments

Describe an audience instead of copying a list.

Segments are managed against a contact book and can return the contacts that match their filter. That gives campaigns a reusable audience definition instead of a one-off export.

03
Campaign controls

Put a campaign on the calendar, then keep a hand on it.

Campaigns can be created, scheduled, paused, resumed, and deleted through the registered API handlers. Campaign content also needs an unsubscribe placeholder, keeping the required opt-out path part of the workflow.
